Fiesta Americana Hacienda San Antonio el Puente is located just outside of the city Cuernavaca in the state of Morelos, Mexico.
The conference venue is approximately 56 miles away from the closest international airport, Mexico City International Airport. You can get to the venue by a variety of transport options, by taxi or bus, or by using one of Bonsucro’s two scheduled buses.
Arriving in Mexico ahead of Bonsucro Global Week?
If you’re arriving in Mexico City ahead of the conference, you have the option to stay at the Fiesta Americana Reforma hotel for a discounted rate.
Rooms are available to book using the discount from 17-26 May, and will cost approximately USD $94 per night plus tax. The discount will be emailed to you upon registration.
We recommend travelling to the Fiesta Americana Reforma by taxi. For safe and trusted travel options, we suggest using taxi providers that have booths just outside the airport.
Travel with Bonsucro to the venue
If you are travelling from Mexico City, you have the option of booking onto a bus arranged by Bonsucro, which will leave from Fiesta Americana Reforma at the following times:
- Sunday 19 May, at 2pm CDMX
- Monday 20 May, at 11am CDMX
The bus will take you directly to Cuernavaca – a journey that on average takes 75 minutes without traffic. Delegates will be dropped off at their chosen accommodation, either the conference hotel, or its sister hotel Fiesta Inn located in Cuernavaca.
If you wish to travel to Cuernavaca outside of these times, or from another point in Mexico, then you will need to take private or public transport. Details of other options available can be found in the “Other transport options” section below.
Transport to Mexico City
You can also choose to use Bonsucro-arranged transport to return to Mexico City after the conference.
The bus will leave directly after the field trip on Thursday 23 May. We aim to drop delegates off at Fiesta Americana Reforma in Mexico City by 5pm CDMX.
If you wish to travel to the airport from Fiesta Americana Reforma, we recommend getting a taxi. See below for recommended providers.
Other transport options
If you would like to make your own way to Bonsucro Global Week from Mexico City, there are multiple options available to you.
Public transport:
The easiest and cheapest travel option is to travel via bus from Mexico City to Cuernavaca.
You can take a bus directly from Mexico City Airport. Each terminal has a Pullman de Morelos stand, which will take you to Cuernavaca Casino – find the stand at Terminal 1 door 7, or Terminal 2 door 4.
You can also travel to Terminal Central del Sur – Taxqueña where you will find multiple other bus operators in service. However we recommend you book onto a Pullman bus.
To get to Terminal Central del Sur – Taxqueña, you can either take an Uber, or use an official airport taxi from the booths outside the airport.
Once you have arrived in Cuernavaca, in order to reach the conference hotel (Fiesta Americana Hacienda San Antonio el Puente), you will need to take a taxi from the Cuernavaca bus station.
Private transport:
Taxis are available to take you directly to the conference hotel, and will cost an estimated USD $30-36 from Mexico City Airport to Cuernavaca. A suggested taxi provider is Porto Taxi Ejecutivo.
You can also take an Uber within Mexico City, or when travelling to Cuernavaca and the conference venue – however bear in mind that you might need cash to pay for the tolls along route (up to 300 MXN). Estimated costs are as follows:

Staying at Fiesta Inn hotel?
If you are staying at the Fiesta Inn hotel in Cuernavaca, please remember to factor in travelling to the conference hotel in the morning. This journey will take approximately 20 minutes without traffic.
Sessions will start promptly at 9am on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 May, while on Thursday 23, delegates should arrive at the conference hotel by 8:20am ahead of the field trip – buses will leave for the trip at 8:30am.
You can get to and from the conference hotel either by a local taxi, or by using Bonsucro’s shuttle bus.
Bonsucro’s shuttle bus
The shuttle bus will run once at the beginning and end of each day, with the exception of Wednesday evening, when a second shuttle will leave after the Bonsucro Inspire Awards ceremony for those delegate attending. The bus will leave at the following times:
20 May:
- Cuernavaca to conference venue – 16:00
- Conference venue to Cuernavaca – 21:30
22 May:
- Cuernavaca to conference venue – 08:00
- Conference venue to Cuernavaca – 17:30 (for delegates not wishing to attend the Inspire Awards)
- Conference venue to Cuernavaca – 22:45 (for those attending the Inspire Awards)
21 May:
- Cuernavaca to conference venue – 08:00
- Conference venue to Cuernavaca – 18:15
23 May:
- Cuernavaca to field trip – 07:30
Private transport:
Delegates can also make their own way to and from the Fiesta Inn hotel. We recommend speaking to hotel staff when in Cuernavaca to arrange a taxi.
