When are the start and finish times of the conference?

Registration opens Monday 20 May at 12:30, and will be open until 16:30 – please come and collect your badge, and say hi to the Bonsucro team, during this time.

The conference will end at approximately 14:30 on Thursday 23 May, after the end of the field trip. We will return to the hotels, from where our bus to Mexico City will leave.

How do I buy my ticket?

Please follow this link to register your attendance to BGW2024: https://bgw.bonsucro.com/register/

Can I buy my ticket once I arrive at the venue?

If you are planning on attending Bonsucro Global Week, we highly encourage you to book your ticket in advance, as tickets may sell out. Prior booking also allows us to plan ahead and ensure there is space for you to attend all the sessions.

If you are travelling from overseas, you may need a visa, so we recommend early booking to allow for enough time to sort out any visa or travel arrangements.

I have special accessibility needs/dietary requirements - can you accommodate me?

Yes, we will do our best to try and meet everyone’s needs. Whilst completing the registration form, you will be asked if you have any accessibility or dietary requirements. We will take note of these and do our best to ensure that you are able to fully participate in this event.

If I have any questions regarding my registration, who do I contact?

For all visa requirements or payment issues, please contact marta@bonsucro.com.

For event logistics or any other concerns, please contact BGW@bonsucro.com.

For sponsorship-related enquiries, please contact liz@bonsucro.com.

How do I receive my discount code for the recommended hotels?

After registration you will be sent a confirmation email. In this email you will find the codes and contact numbers to book a room at each hotel.

Please get in touch with BGW@bonsucro.com if you cannot find the email in your inbox.

I am not staying at the main conference hotel, but at one of the hotels in Cuernavaca. How do I get to the conference venue?

We will run a shuttle bus between Fiesta Inn, Cuernavaca and the main conference venue at the beginning and end of each day. There will be only the one shuttle either way, with the exception of Wednesday evening when a second shuttle will leave after the Bonsucro Inspire Awards ceremony.  We will send out more details on how to book onto the shuttle closer to the event.

Delegates can also make their own way to and from Cuernavaca. We recommend speaking to staff at your hotel to arrange a taxi.

How safe is Cuernavaca?

Overall, Cuernavaca is a relatively safe city, however please do take precautions.

Bonsucro Global Week will take place predominantly at the conference venue. You will be safe in any of the hotels we have recommended, however when travelling we recommend you take the shuttles we provide – and where possible only travel by day.

What is the weather like in Cuernavaca?

Hot! Temperatures will reach around 32 degree Celsius (89.6 degrees Fahrenheit) during the day, and a cooler 15 degrees Celsius (59 degrees Fahrenheit) at night. Cuernavaca will also be heading into the rainy season.

Make sure you bring some sunscreen.

Is there a dress code for the event?

The main event is business casual. Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable.

The dress code for the Bonsucro Inspire Awards dinner is lounge suits.

What should I bring with me to the conference?

We recommend bringing a laptop for taking notes during the sessions.

Is there a packing list for the field trip?

Please wear closed-toe shoes, long trousers and a long sleeved shirt – it will be hot. A more detailed packing list can be found here: https://bgw.bonsucro.com/field-trip/
