Rafael Bordonal Kalaki is the CEO at Socicana – Sugarcane growers association of Guariba.

Previously, he was a consultant at Markestrat, in which he worked for 8 years on the consulting projects in business strategy and analysis of agribusiness chains.

Rafael is an agronomist engineer with a master and PhD in business administration. He is an expert in strategic planning in agribusiness systems and has experience in attractiveness sector analysis, market analysis, mapping and quantification of agribusiness chains, strategic planning and market access strategies. He is professor of graduate and MBA programs in three institutions in Brazil.

He is the author or coauthor of 16 books about agribusiness chain in Brazil and of numerous scientific articles on this topic. 

Rafael is also a member of the Bonsucro Members Council.
