Nandini is Director at the Centre for Responsible Business (CRB). She has over 15 years of experience working on governance and industry action in the field of sustainability and responsible business behaviour. She has been a part of the Technical team supporting the Ministry of Corporate Affairs in the development of the National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights. She was also part of the Anchor team that provided inputs into the National Voluntary Guidelines on Social, Economic and Environmental Responsibilities of Business (The NGRBC, the national framework on Responsible Business Guidelines). In her current capacity as the Director of Business and Human Rights, she has led several programmes and projects on mainstreaming the uptake of social sustainability in value chains. In her previous engagement at German International Cooperation (GIZ), she was responsible for driving different projects and cultivating partnerships/collaborations with multiple stakeholders across different geographies.
