Michelle Morton is a fuels expert with focus on sustainability of biofuels feedstocks. She worked for over 30 years in the Oil and Gas sector in a range of roles including operations/process engineering at refineries, product management and product quality, ending up focussing on sustainability for biofuels, biogas, and hydrogen. 

She spent significant time working with Bonsucro, RTRS for soy and RSPO for palm oil supporting them in becoming recognised by the EC for the Renewable Energy Directive regulation. 

Based in France, she is now consulting on a part-time basis, while working on improving her jewellery and enamelling hobby. 

She studied Chemical Engineering and Management at McGill in Montreal.
