Jessica has 20 years of related technical, policy and stakeholder engagement experience across Europe, Indonesia, the Philippines, USA and Brazil.

Her experience began in sugarcane from the development and financing of what became the first integrated sugarcane energy plant in the Philippines. Since then, her work has included partnerships with businesses on the research, design and implementation of responsible sourcing programs for commodities  as well as leading the first biofuel carbon and sustainability reporting program in collaboration with the Department for Transport.

Today, Jessica leads WeForest’s corporate reforestation partnerships, including those creating new habitats and protecting watersheds in and around the sugarcane region in Brazil. With previous experience in designing and supporting responsible sourcing programmes in international supply chains with multinational organisations, she brings together corporate and field experience to support businesses turn biodiversity and climate commitments into action.

She is a graduate of Edinburgh University and Imperial College London, where she achieved an MSc in Environmental Technology with distinction.
