Inés Amenabar heads the Corporate Responsible Development division for Pantaleon Group, a sugar, ethanol and energy production company in Latin America. Responsible Development for the group integrates environmental and social issues, including worker health and safety.

She completed her Masters in Public Administration in Development Practice (MPA-DP) at Columbia University after completing a double degree in Economics and Politics at Lafayette College. Inés has worked in various organisations including Havas and Morgan Stanley in New York, as well as consultancy projects focusing on economic development and public policy at Fundación Corona in Colombia, USAID in the Philippines, UNICEF, amongst other.

Inés is part of Bonsucro’s Member’s Council, the Sustainability Group for the Central America Sugar Associations, and the Research Committee of the World Sugar Research Organization.
