Sustainability Manager | Canaoeste
Fábio de Camargo Soldera is a specialist in environmental engineering and a postgraduate in environmental and agrarian law. He recently specialised in Business Management at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
With more than 10 years’ experience in consultancy in the environmental and agricultural areas, he develops projects and programmes for sustainable rural competitiveness. In 2023 he took over sustainability management at Canaoeste and consequently the Bonsucro certification programme for rural producers.
One of its achievements is Canaoeste’s “SOS Fire” programme, focused on assisting rural producers with issues related to fires in both productive areas and native vegetation. The initiative won best environmental initiative in the 2022 Bonsucro Inspire Awards.
In the public sector, he represents ORPLANA, the umbrella organisation for cane producers associations in Brazil, and is an Executive Secretary of the Greener Ethanol Protocol. He currently coordinates the ORPLANA Environmental Group and the Pensar Agro IPA Institute of the Agro-FPA Parliamentary Front.
Fábio graduated in Agricultural Engineering, from Centro Universitário Moura Lacerda de Ribeirão Preto-SP.
