Renata Camargo holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of São Paulo Law School, specializing in Corporate Environmental Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a Master’s in Management and Public Policy from Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Since 2009, she has acted as UNICA’s legal advisor, starting to coordinate, in 2015, the activities related to the best sustainability practices developed within the scope of the entity. 

Since 2009, together with the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Environment, Secretariat of Agriculture of the State of São Paulo, CETESB and ORPLANA, it has participated in the Executive Committee of the Ethanol Mais Verde Program. 

She works at CETESB’s Environmental Chamber for the Sugar-Energy Sector, the body responsible for analyzing and discussing environmental issues related to the cultivation and processing of sugarcane in the State of São Paulo, as well as at CETESB’s Environmental Chamber for Climate Change, the responsible forum for the discussion of models for meeting the goals assumed in the Paris Agreement within the scope of the state of São Paulo.
