Technical Advocacy Lead | Braskem
Martin Clemesha has been leading on technical advocacy at Braskem since 2023. It’s a branch of external affairs dedicated to exchanging Braskem’s views on complex topics such as responsible sourcing, life cycle thinking and circular economy with relevant stakeholders (including policy makers, think tanks and trade associations).
He moved to Europe from Brazil to help Braskem promote its ‘I’m Green TM’ biobased plastics, first in technical sales and then as a product manager. Over the past 21 years in the polymer industry, he has provided technical support to customers in several segments in Brazil, South America and Europe. As a market development engineer, he worked on projects involving the replacement of traditional materials in the paint and medical packaging industries.
Martin graduated in materials science and engineering at the Polytechnic School of São Paulo University in 2001 and has a post-graduation degree in Packaging Engineering.
