Livia is Country Manager for Brazil at Bonsucro. She is involved with assisting more than 60 operative members in the country, as well as multi-stakeholder initiatives, over a wide range of organizations, from farmers to end-users. She has also been leading the structuring of Bonsucro’s climate action roadmap in line with Bonsucro’s 21-26 Strategic Plan.

Livia has been delivering positive impact across sustainability, consultancy, and sugarcane industries for over ten years. Prior to Bonsucro, she previously worked for large sugarcane mills groups and had experience with the implementation of the Bonsucro certification system.

Livia is an Environmental and Safety Engineer with a master’s degree in Innovation and Sustainability. She is passionate about Brazil, sustainable sugarcane farming and milling, certifiable management systems, sustainable finance and responsible supply chains and consumption.

Livia is Brazilian, married and currently lives with her husband in the city of Ribeirão Preto, state of São Paulo, Brazil – the heart of sugarcane cultivation in the country. She loves drinking a sweet cappuccino over a good book or TV series and jogging a few times a week.
