Laura Fisher is Director of Corporate Services at Bonsucro. She joined Bonsucro in 2016 and has been leading the Corporate Services team since 2018. Before joining Bonsucro on a placement on the On Purpose Leadership Programme, Laura worked in the International Development sector for over 11 years, focussing on child rights and education in Africa and Asia. Early in her career, she volunteered and worked in Mozambique as a Programme Manager, focusing on education and community development programmes.

She then moved to London to study a Master’s in Development Management at the London School of Economics & Political Science. Since graduation she has worked with two international charities focused on child protection, where she worked closely with local partner organisations in Africa and Asia, travelling extensively in those regions. Her roles in these organisations have included: responsibility for strategy development, facilitation, programme management, grant & financial management, and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning.

Outside Bonsucro, Laura enjoys being with family and friends, time outdoors, playing tennis, reading, music festivals and yoga. Laura is originally from Italy, and can also speak Portuguese.
