Josias Messias is the founding partner and director of ProCana Brasil, which is considered to be the most influential media and events group in the bioenergy market. Josias is a professional journalist and since 1988 has been the publisher of JornalCana and organiser of technical and strategic events for the bioenergy market, including the MasterCana Award.  

Josias’ experience includes founding partner and CEO of Íntegra-SA, a digital transformation company in agribusiness and sugar mills, and partner and CEO of Pró-Usinas Sinatub, the company responsible for the insertion of the S-PAA Real-Time Optimization (RTO) software in the bioenergy, citrus juice, energy, agro-industrial markets, lumber and chemical.  In the third sector, he chaired Pró-Ribeirânia – Association of Entrepreneurs and Residents of Costábile Romano between 2002 and 2018 and the Deliberative Council of Soberp – Sociedade Beneficente Evangélica de Ribeirão Preto between 2002 and 2016. Additionally, he is a board member for IBGC.
