Julian is responsible for setting and driving the deployment of Tetra Pak’s global strategy for the protection of nature in its value chain, focusing on maintaining healthy biodiverse ecosystems and habitats. 

Sustainable land use provides much of the sustainability value for Tetra Pak’s customers and for nature, through sourcing of liquid packaging board, aluminium foil, renewable and recycled polymers certified respectively to the Forest Stewardship Council, Aluminium Stewardship Initiative, Bonsucro and RSB standards. 

The Nature programmes team engage with a broad network of suppliers, voluntary sustainability standards, NGOs and society to also go beyond ‘do no harm’, and create positive impacts for nature via land restoration. 

Julian joined Tetra Pak in 2006 to develop and implement systems engineering capability in the development and supply chain organisations, before joining the sustainability team in 2017.
