Gustavo Paredes is the Sustainability Advisor at the Assosciation of Latin America Sugar Products, UNALA. He has more than 15 years of experience in institutional and international relations consulting, especially focused on relations between Latin America and Europe, as well as project development and relations with the United Nations. In the last 5 years Gustavo have specialised in the field of sustainable development, particularly looking at the thematic of water and energy and the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. 

Gustavo has worked on several projects in recent years, including Network “Water and Energy Sustainable Solutions” with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of United Nations (UNDESA) and Itaipu Binacional, the global network of Participatory Water Management, including 7 projects awarded by the UN Water, and the project “Madrid Es Acción”, a program for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in the Community of Madrid, Spain.
