Dulce has more than 15 years of global experience in sustainability, climate change and agriculture. As a Specialist in the United Nations Foundation (UNF), she actively participated in the development of the global sustainability framework for biofuels, leading discussions on the development of sustainability criteria for biofuels globally and supporting developing countries to tackle their potential for bioenergy development. Her experience also encompassed multistakeholder negotiations helping to build consensus agendas and frameworks for sustainability, especially those related to agriculture.  After UNF, she led the Department of Development of the NGO ‘Conservation International (CI)’ in Brazil being responsible for fundraising strategy and alignment of its initiatives with CI’s regional and global priorities.  

Most recently, Dulce was appointed Director of Projects at Sociedade Rural Brasileira (SRB), a centenary institution that represents producers of various segments of the agribusiness sector in Brazil. In this position, Dulce lead the sustainability area as well as initiatives in sustainable finance, innovation and technology. Dulce is currently the leader of Sustainability & Agribusiness at Proactiva, focusing on ESG risks and indicators for agriculture, as well as Sustainable Finance initiatives and projects.
