André is currently responsible for global sustainability and the ESG agenda at Raízen. He has worked as a consultant at ICF International, advising several organizations on their GHG emissions mitigation strategies.

He has worked for more than 15 years in corporate sustainability management with a broad background in climate change and competitiveness management through socio-environmental aspects. André is an Environmental Engineer from Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ), and holds an Executive MBA from Insper and is certified in ESG Investing from the CFA Institute.
